WSOP Releases Complete 95-Tournament Schedule Along With 20 Online Events

Players can begin marking their calendars for some bracelet-hunting action after. The World Series of Poker released the complete schedule for this summer’s action on Thursday.
The 54th annual WSOP returns to the Las Vegas Strip at the Horseshoe and Paris casinos from May 30 – July 18. Series organizers are promising more tables, more variety, and the largest series history.
Players will find 95 live events with an additional 20 online poker bracelet events planned. That means a total of 115 events planned this summer. Players will also find greatly expanded opportunities to qualify for the Main Event.
“With the momentum generated from the WSOP’s debut on the Las Vegas Strip last year, we expect a record-breaking WSOP and World Championship at Paris and Horseshoe Las Vegas in 2023,” WSOP Senior Vice President Ty Stewart said in a news release. “If the Main Event is on your bucket list, this is the year to get to Vegas.”
New events and promotions for 2023 WSOP
Players generally expressed praise for the new venue after last year’s move from the Rio. Series officials say this summer’s event will feature the largest capacity in series history with 608 tables spread across more than 200,000 square feet of convention space.
Players will also find 24/7 live cash game action including a new permanent Hall of Fame Poker Room. The series also includes a new $300 price point event, the lowest in WSOP history.
The $10,000 Main Event is set for July 3-17 following last year’s 8,663-entry field, the second-largest in WSOP history. After falling just short of the Main Event record in 2022, organizers are working to top the 2006 record of 8,773 players.
The new “Main Event Mania” promotion is meant to help that record and includes several opportunities detailed below.
GGPoker guaranteeing seats via online qualifiers
Exclusive WSOP satellite partner GGPoker is offering at least 500 Main Event seats through international qualifiers. Another 100 seats are available on the ClubGG.net subscription poker site.
The 600 seats represent $6 million toward the prize pool. This also more than doubles GG’s online qualifiers from 2022. Satellites begin in March.
WSOP.com offers 112 seats up for grabs
US online poker fans also have numerous chances to qualify. WSOP.com features 112 Main Event seats up for grabs from June 25 – July 8. The action starts on June 25 with 10 seats guaranteed per day.
The highlight is the $250,000 guaranteed, 25 Seat Scramble on July 2. “All-in satellites” also run daily during this time, priced from $80 to $126 with no fees. A last-chance drawing for the final seat is planned for July 8.
This is THE year ✨ With Main Event Mania, even more tables, the first ever $300 Bracelet Event, and an epic 2023 WSOP schedule planned, this is your year to be a part of history. Check out all of the details below 👇

Main Event Mania at casinos around the world
Along with online qualifiers, the WSOP is adding more live qualifiers around the globe. The WSOP’s first Global Qualification Weekend is set for May 20-21 at live poker rooms on five continents.
Each poker room will offer a “step” tournament at a $140 buy-in. This then culminates in a $1,175 mega satellite awarding a Main Event seat and travel stipend.
Properties in the US include Harrah’s Cherokee, Horseshoe Las Vegas, Horseshoe Tunica, Horseshoe St. Louis, Harrah’s Pompano, Turning Stone Casino, Hard Rock Tulsa, Grand Victoria Casino (Illinois), and Horseshoe Council Bluffs. International partners include:
- King’s Resort (Czech Republic)
- Club Pierre Charron Paris ()
- Deerfoot Inn & Casino Calgary (Canada)
- Enjoy Punta del Este Resort and Casino (Uruguay)
- Casino Es Saadi Marrakech (Morocco)
Organizers will announce additional hosts in the coming weeks. Should the Main Event top the record, the new “Main Event for Life” promotion also kicks in. All players in the field will be entered into a drawing on July 8, awarding a Main Event buy-in for the next 30 years. The award is non-transferrable.
More online action this year
Online players in Michigan will once again have a chance for some online bracelet action. Players can expect 20 online tournaments.
That includes events every Sunday during the summer, with three special “Double Up Bracelet Days” on June 4, 25, and July 9. Some of the highlights include:
- $500 Summer Saver
- $3,200 High Roller
- $1,000 No Limit Hold’em Online Championship
New events include a $300 Summer Kick-Off and a $5,300 High Roller Championship. The latter includes a final table played live in Las Vegas during WSOP.com’s Championship Week. This is a bit of a throwback to early online bracelet events, which often featured live final tables.
WSOP.com also hosts daily satellites for bracelet events through the series. GGPoker is also expected to offer more event satellites as well and WSOP officials will release more details in the coming weeks.
A look at other events, new tournaments
Along with the schedule, WSOP officials also announced some changes for a few events. The Tournament of Champions shifts to the opening weekend, May 31 – June 2.
The $1 million freeroll Tournament of Champions is limited to those winning a bracelet or WSOP Circuit ring, either live or online, from July 20, 2022, to May 22, 2023. Registration opens May 30 and 2023 bracelet winners are eligible for the 2024 tournament.
The $1,000 Mystery Millions also is planned for May 31 – June 5 and features a guaranteed first-place payout of $1 million as well as a $1 million top bounty.
Low rollers can look for the new $300 Gladiators of Poker event. This may have a low price point, but features a $3 million guarantee. A few new events this year include:
- $25,000 High Roller Six Handed – May 30
- $1,500 Badugi – June 7
- $10,000 Secret Bounty (mystery bounties starting on Day 2) – June 14
- $1,500 Big (five-card Poker Limit Omaha Hi/Lo) – June 17
- $25,000 High Roller HORSE – June 10
- $600 Ultra Stack – July 11-12
- $1,500 Short Deck – July 12
- $2,500 Mixed Omaha Hi/Lo and Seven Stud Hi/Lo
Unveiling Hall of Fame Poker Room, even more WSOP details, full schedule
Horseshoe is hosting the WSOP for the first time since the property’s rebrand from Bally’s. The move symbolizes the series’ return to its roots, as the series was held at the original Horseshoe in downtown Vegas from 1970 – 2005.
As an ode to this legacy, the resort recently opened a Hall of Fame Poker Room. The venue will host select tournaments during the series and soon feature a Poker Hall of Fame exhibit to honor the game’s legendary players.
Daily DeepStack tournaments also return this summer. The non-bracelet events feature large player and prize pools. The tournaments run daily from June 1 – July 17, with buy-ins ranging from $200 to $400.
Daily Mega Satellites also run May 31 – July 14 with buy-ins starting at $135 and reaching up to $25,000. The WSOP main cage is again at Paris with the final table television set at Horseshoe. The two properties are connected and share a parking garage.
CBS Sports returns for a third season as broadcast partner of the WSOP. Players can expect daily streaming from PokerGO as well. Look for more streaming details announced soon. Here’s a look at the entire tournament schedule.
